Having gained a degree in photography, Donna then spent nine years working in the broadcast industry. Finally deciding this year 2006 to realise her dream of working as a full time photographer she completed two intensive photographic courses at the prestigious art and Design College Central Saint Martins enhancing her existing traditional photographic skills with the latest in contemporary and digital photography.

Donna has sold her work privately and has been published in the Times and Music for the Movies; she recently photographed Terry Gilliam (Director/Monty Python) for some editorial work but her passion is portrait work, especially children’s portraits. She works digitally and with film enabling her to create dynamic images and fine art portraits.

Preferring to work with the available light and having a flexible, informal approach to portraiture Donna produces contemporary black and white and colour images, her aim is to capture people just being themselves. Laughing, smiling, playing, talking, dancing and running, doing all the things that people do.
